Board Members
Thando Mraqisa – President As the president of Soweto United Stars Soccer Academy, Thando Mraqisa provides visionary leadership and strategic direction to our organization. With a wealth of experience in sports management, Thando is dedicated to driving the growth and success of our academy.
Thulani Tyala – Treasurer Thulani Tyala oversees the financial operations of our academy, ensuring transparency, accountability, and fiscal responsibility. His expertise in financial management ensures the sustainable growth and stability of our organization.
Sihawukele Ndzelu – Secretary Sihawukele Ndzelu manages the administrative affairs of Soweto United Stars Soccer Academy, handling communication, documentation, and coordination with stakeholders. Her organizational skills and attention to detail keep our academy running smoothly.
Coaching Staff
Bafana Dlamini – Head Coach (Senior Team) Bafana Dlamini brings a wealth of experience and tactical expertise to his role as head coach of our senior team. With a focus on player development and strategic gameplay, Bafana leads our senior team to victory on the field.
Elvis Radebe – Goalkeeper Coach (All Divisions) Elvis Radebe is responsible for nurturing the talent of our goalkeepers across all divisions. With specialized training and personalized guidance, Elvis helps our goalkeepers hone their skills and excel between the posts.
Lebohang Mokoena – Head Coach (Under 21) Lebohang Mokoena leads our under-21 team with passion and dedication, instilling a winning mindset and developing the next generation of soccer stars.
Nhlanhla Dlamini – Head Coach (Under 19) Nhlanhla Dlamini focuses on the development and growth of our under-19 team, providing mentorship and guidance to young players as they navigate their soccer journey.
Thando Mraqisa – Head Coach (Under 17) In addition to his role on the board, Thando Mraqisa serves as the head coach of our under-17 team, leveraging his coaching expertise to nurture talent and foster success.
Mosa Nkambule – Head Coach (Under 13 and Under 15) Mosa Nkambule leads our under-13 and under-15 teams with enthusiasm and dedication, creating a nurturing environment where young players can thrive and develop their skills.
Prince Morake – Public Officer Prince Morake handles public relations and communication for Soweto United Stars Soccer Academy, building relationships with the community and promoting our organization’s mission and values.
Matsosane Kele – Cook/Cleaner Matsosane Kele ensures the well-being and cleanliness of our facilities, providing essential support to our staff and players.
